“Rigamuffin” is coming

Presentation party for “Passport:Music” production work

Weeks ago we organized and participated in international youth DJ, VJ and producer project “Passport:Music”. This was amazing experience and now it’s time to present production work done during those 10 great days of colloboration. So, presentation party is scheduled this Friday, October 23, in “Peahen Studio” (Andejostas street 4), start 22:00. Sound will start with the mixtape of all tracks produced during the project and end up with great DJ sets.

Carnival for BMX & MTB riders

Yeah, guys, prepare your masks and join an extreme Carnival this Saturday, October 17 in “Ride It Indoor Skatepark”, Tukums city. BMX and MTB freestyle contests start at 18:00 and at 22:00 are followed by amazing afterparty with all night long raving on the skatepark constructions. Featuring DJs and their sets can be found here. As you can guess, Crystral Sound also takes part, this time with freaky fidget/wobble and hot ghetto bass set.

Kultūrbloks

Due to rough economical crisis in Latvia goverment is planning to merge Art Academy Of Latvia and State University for saving more money. Art sudents are up to action named “KultÅ«rbloks” to save their autonomy: with dance marathon, installations, public workshops, performances and exhibition from October 16 till November 1. Crystral Sound System is proud to join and support this action not only with loud fidget DJ set but also with equipment! Come and see us in action this friday starting from 8:00 PM in industrial area of VEF fectory – Ūnijas street 4, house 7, floor 2 and 3.

Reggae night in Cabo cafe

Crystral Sound is rocking the house of waves, boards, bronzed people and beach atmosphere again! Surfers bar Cabo Cafe at the Kisezers lake in Riga isn’t afraid of the cold weather outside! They know, how to keep themselves hot, and Crystral Sound knows that as well! This Saturday from already eight in the evening we will spin the best reggae and dancehall recorded so far. And – we can whisper, that there will be a birthday party for one super-important person in Latvian board-sports scene. shshshsh!

Back In Jamaica

We are always super-happy to hear when Latvian small towns are doing reggae events. And always happy to play there, of course. One of them, with a promising name “Back In Jamaica” will take place in Saldus, 120 km from Riga already this Friday. Location: Club Ciecere, Saldus, Rigas str. 8. Crystral Sound System plays from midnight to 3Am. Seeya!

Positive Vibrations

Today we had first snow here in Latvia! It means that outdoor party and festival season is over for some months in this tiny northern country. But life still goes on and next gig where we play hot choons is on Friday, October 2. Event “Positive Vibrations” takes place in guesthouse “Upesloki” (Milzkalne) approx. 70 km from Riga and will be dedicated mainly to house music. Crystral Sound is going to select on 2 floors: from 23:00 till midnight – fresh Jamaican dancehall on the first floor and other set with ragga flavoured fidget, tropical and ghetto bass on second floor till 01:30. Afterwards we return back to Riga to celebrate birthday of Ilze PÄ“tersone, marketing supergirl of extreme sports store Boards.lv in art studio Peahen in Andrejsala (really nice and cosy place to have parties!). So be up to date – we are looking forward  in October to organize some lil’ public gig inna dis venue!
